「鉄砲方」とは
（てっぽうかた）は、江戸幕府の役職名。鉄砲御用人、鉄砲御側衆とも。鉄砲の研究、整備および修理を行いました。
「高遠藩」とは
（たかとおはん）は、信濃国（南信地方）伊那郡（現在の長野県伊那市）高遠に所在した藩。居城は高遠城。高遠藩の藩主には、内藤清枚、保科正之、内藤長好、内藤頼以、内藤頼寧、内藤頼直などがいました。
「東京・新宿の祖」
内藤新宿が新宿区の語源。内藤氏が幕府に返上した屋敷地に置かれたことと、新しい宿の意味から「内藤新宿」と呼ばれ、新宿の地名の起こりとなりました。内藤氏は高遠藩です。
現品は一般的に存在しない江戸時代の品となり、貴重です。鉄砲(火縄銃)や修理道具を入れたのでしょう。幅広で堅牢な造りで、天板がフラットなため、展示台などインテリアアイテムとしておすすめです。

(Teppokata) was a job title in the Edo Shogunate. Also known as gun bureaucrats or gun aides. They conducted research, maintenance and repairs on guns.
What is "Takato Domain"?
(Takato Domain) was a domain located in Takato, Ina County (present-day Ina City, Nagano Prefecture), Shinano Province (Minami Shinano region). The castle was Takato Castle. The feudal lords of Takato Domain included Naito Kiyohira, Hoshina Masayuki, Naito Nagayoshi, Naito Yorii, Naito Yorinari and Naito Yorinao.
"The origin of Shinjuku, Tokyo"
Naito Shinjuku is the origin of the name Shinjuku Ward. It was called "Naito Shinjuku" because it was located on the site of a mansion returned by the Naito clan to the Shogunate, and because it meant a new inn, which is how the place name Shinjuku came about. The Naito clan was the Takato Domain.
The actual item is a rare Edo period item that is not commonly found. It was probably used to store guns (matchlock guns) and repair tools. It is wide and sturdy, with a flat top, so it is recommended as an interior item such as a display stand.
