【商品説明】Ingraham イングラハム 米国製 だるま時計 実働品 明治〜大正時代。だるま時計の原型は、1860年創業のイングラハム社のアイオニックという時計とされています。アメリカでは8の字時計と呼ばれていたこの時計が、明治初期に日本に大量に時計が輸入されました。日本における達磨時計はアメリカ産の輸入品を真似て作ったのが始まりでした。現品は現在 動いております。時打ちもします。古い機械ですので扱いは丁寧によろしくお願いいたします。

Ingraham Daruma Clock, Made in the USA, Working, Meiji to Taisho Period. The prototype of the Daruma Clock is said to be the Ionic Clock, made by Ingraham, founded in 1860. This clock, called the figure-of-eight clock in America, was imported to Japan in large quantities in the early Meiji period. Daruma Clocks in Japan started out as imitations of American imports. The actual product is currently in working order. It also strikes the time. It is an old machine, so please handle it with care. Please check the images and videos for deterioration.
